Promatrix 106CS
Automatic Die Cutting Machine
Promatrix 106CS die cutting machines use a rotary gripper opening structure to handle sheets more smoothly at higher speeds. They are used for post-press cutting of folding cartons, labels, and other paperboard packaging made from paper, solid cardboard, or corrugated board. These die cutters can process paper and solid cardboard from 90 to 2000g/m², as well as corrugated cardboard below 4 mm. Reaching up to 8,000 sheets/hour, Promatrix 106CS is a suitable option for packaging converting processes that need accurate die cutting, stable sheet transfer, and efficient waste removal without a blanking section.

- The suction head feeds paper, cardboard, and corrugated board with stable sheet pickup.
- Quick positioning on the suction head shortens feeder setup when switching between different sheet formats.
- The pile platform uses motorized side adjustment to keep the sheet stack aligned before feeding.
- Mechanical double-sheet detection checks the sheet flow and reduces the risk of two sheets entering together.

- The registration system positions each sheet before it enters the cutting station.
- Pull/push side lays on both sides give operators more control over side alignment.
- The suction belt table keeps sheets flat and controlled as they move forward.
- Rollers and brushes are adjusted from one central point for easier feeder table setup.
- Four front lays with active optical monitoring check whether each sheet is correctly positioned before cutting.
- If a sheet is misaligned, the gripper opening function prevents it from entering the cutting area in the wrong position.
- Ultrasonic double-sheet detection checks the sheet flow before it reaches the cutting station, reducing the risk of two sheets entering together.

- The registration system keeps each sheet aligned before die cutting.
- Cutting pressure can be adjusted by motor according to the material and cutting requirements.
- Pneumatic locking secures the die-cutting chase and cutting plate during setup and operation.
- The die cutting plate can be adjusted in small steps for more accurate positioning.
- An air cushion helps operators move the cutting plate more easily during setup.
- The quick-lock chase shortens tool change time between jobs.
- An optional chase changer can be added when faster tool preparation is needed.

- The registration system keeps sheets positioned before waste removal.
- Quick-lock systems are used for the top, middle, and bottom stripping tools, reducing setup time during changeover.
- Tool position can be adjusted with position indicators as a clear setup reference.
- Test sheets can be removed during production to check the die-cutting and stripping result.
- Electronic sheet monitoring checks sheet movement through the stripping unit.
- An optional preparation table can be used to set up the stripping tools for the next production run before changeover.

- Operators can use the touchscreen to check settings, control functions, and view running status.
- Local operation panels are placed at different working positions for easier operation.
- CE conformity and GS certification show that the die cutter meets recognized safety requirements.

- The non-stop delivery belt carries finished sheets out while production continues.
- Pneumatic flaps let operators remove test sheets for quality checks without stopping the die cutter.
- Sheet size adjustment uses position indicators, so operators can set the delivery area more accurately.
- The sheet brake brush has motorized brake force adjustment to control sheet movement at the delivery end.
- An optional tape inserter can be added for batch marking or sheet separation.
- An optional gripper edge removal system removes the gripper edge before finished sheets are collected.
